Farzad Mardekatani Asl

Degrees: MSc Micro-Nano Electronics (Tarbiyat Modares University)
Work experience: Electronics Engineer
Languages: English (full proficiency), Persian (native), Turkish (native)
About me (full):

I was born and raised in Iran. I am 27 years old. I have a master’s degree in electrical engineering and two years ago I moved to the Netherlands to start a new journey. Since last year I am looking for a job and due to sanctions and Corona, I have not been successful yet.

As for my bachelor thesis, I have worked on designing an instrumentation IC for harsh environments. I studied the effects of a harsh environment on CMOS circuits and looked into ways to overcome the potential problems especially the ones caused by high temperature, the project was part of a larger project aimed at failure detection in oil wells.

I have done a four-month internship in “Integrated System Design Lab” of Sharif University of Technology. The primary focus of the internship was to mathematically analyze the stability of distributed amplifiers based on GaAs technology. The second part of the internship was focused on Class-E power amplifiers and their design. While learning about class-E PA design, I learned how to use ADS to simulate microwave and high-frequency circuits

I have a strong background in physics and mathematics and in semiconductor physics and thin-film technology. I obtained my M.Sc. degree in Micro-Nano electronics from Tarbiyat Modares University in Tehran and I ranked 1st in the program based on my GPA. The main goal of my MSc thesis was to engineer a perovskite structure to achieve better properties for photovoltaic applications. I have done a year and half of research at Eindhoven University of Technology on the project called ‘’Novel thin films and passivation solutions’’. In this period, I have worked in TU/e Nanolab cleanroom.
I am a highly determined, focus-driven, and enthusiastic engineer who is eager to learn the practical sides of electronics engineering. This way, I can combine it with the theoretical knowledge I have gained in my studies and previous experiences. After all, truly remarkable designs are only possible if theory and practice come together. I can efficiently use my analytical skills in order to arrive at meaningful conclusions.

All in all, I believe I could be a valuable addition to any team and help them get closer to achieving their goals. I would appreciate an opportunity so that I could discuss my background, interest, and qualifications.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
